I got Jigglypuff and Caption Falcon but I'm stuck. I beat the boss but I don't get any of the other characters, why? What do I need to do to get the characters?

How To Get All Of The Secret Characters!
JigglyPuff: To get JigglyPuff, beat the game with any character and at the end you will face JigglyPuff in a match and you have to beat her to win the match and unlock her!
Captain Falcon: To get Captain Falcon, simply beat the game with any character UNDER 20 minutes!
Ness: To get Ness, beat the game under these specified conditions:
- Set the game on Normal mode
- Set 3 lives
- Do not Continue or you will
not be able to unlock him
- Use any character
Finally, beat the game and win the match with you and Ness to unlock him!
Luigi: Personally, I think this is the hardest one to get out of all of the 4 Hidden Characters! So, to get him, here’s what to do:
You have to beat the First Bonus Stage (Hit the Targets) with all of the 8 initial characters! Do this and beat Luigi in the match and you unlocked him!
Well, that’s what you have to do get all the 4 Hidden Characters!
