is it better to charge the mobile phone by switching it off or to charge it when it's on?(battery).which one wil give a longer life to mobile?

Do I need to hook up a S Video in order to be able to record from tv?I It's hooked up with the red, yellow and white wires so I have to push the Input button on the tv in order to use it.

I have a Sony CyberShot Camera...

Basically, whenever I take a picture it starts "recording" a still movie (i think) for 5 to 10 seconds..automatically!

I don't want that to happen..I just want a picture taken not a recording too!

How do I fix that?! It automatically happens.....

The model no. is DSC-P10... 5 Mega Pixels (just in case you wanna no!)

I want to buy a gift for someone who has a Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II. Are you a digital photographer? what's your favorite accessory or tool? Is there a really neat gadget, lens, or filter I should look at?

I went to a local small jewelry shop to get the battery replaced in my digital running watch. I'd gotten other watch & calculator batteries replaced there before. When I picked up my running watch last week, it was "on" but is really messed up--I can't set it, and it just blinks.

It worked perfectly fine before it ran out of batteries, before I brought it in. So I went back to the shop and explained the situation. They said they'd look at it, and give me an estimate for repairs if it needed it.

I don't think I should have to PAY for repairs if they messed up the insides of the watch when they put the battery in. I said that politely, and they basically said, well, we didn't break it, so you have to pay if you want us to fix it.

I don't think this is right, but they won't budge. It's a $120 watch...should I stand my ground? If it's broken beyond repair, should I ask them to replace it? I basically have no actual proof that they broke it, though...

Hey is anyone else slightly p****d off about this lack of stock with the nintendo wii?i mean come one!! over a week after launch and everyone still out of stock! did nintendo really expect just 50000 to be enough? plus you get those prats who buy like 10 and put em all on ebay! i wish ebay would stop these people!!also shops are no real help. i pretty much went to every store today, asking about it. they all said they DIDNT KNOW when they'll be getting more!! what are they stupid ?? so deliveries just come randomly and unexpectingly to the staff?!?! EVERY DELIVERY IS SCHEDULED, some weeks in advance !!is anyone else really p*****d at this??
i mean, yh i am a nintendo fan and have been for years, but they are starting to annoy me very much. and some stores say the earliets you'll be able to get one is late january/february!!WTF?!
does it take this long to deliver?!But a part of me is thinking that its all just a ploy, and next week a few days before chrismas lots will ship

Is having a handphone expensive than a house phone...?? my frenz are moving...so im losing alot of companion...thus i call them...resulting huge phone bill...so i asked for a handphone...after they say the bill....they said getting a handphone is expensiver!! I need some help from the cellphone experts here:
I am looking to buy 4 cellphones and a plan. I have no clue where to get it from or what kind of cellphones to get. the cellphones are going to be used by 4 people (family) so I guess I'm looking for a family plan.
