Its always advisable to turn your phone off for a number of hours regularly as this keeps all your phone features performing better. Allow your phone a rest and change whilst it is OFF.
Over night is ideal!

Mobile phones don't need a "rest". That's malarky if I've ever heard it. I have 10 year old mobiles here that have run 24/7 for years and they still work. The only advantage to giving your phone a rest is giving the battery less charge cycles. Li-Ion batteries tend to last years anyway. It is more likely you will have a new mobile before your battery goes. You won't do any harm to the phone itself by leaving it on all the time.

well i like to advice you that once a weak you should let the phone switch off by itself because off no power in the battery it will really help and always use original charger, and don't charge your phone overnight as it tremendously effects battery life
