And I would like to know why you think so. Or, if there is a certain brand you don't like, tell me why........
Thanks

I would have to say Panasonic. They are great company and they build great phones. There durable and they seem to last a long time. Just keep in mind when you go shopping that you get what you pay for. So sometimes cheaper is not better.
Hope that Helps!

Panasonic. I've had mine for 5 years now. They have great sound quality and the better features. The brand that really sucks is GE. The higher the GHz, the longer the range is. Basically they have a greater signal strength the farther the distance you walk from the base. The Expandible handsets are also convenient. The base phone has a signal that goes to the handset phone that you simply plug into a wall socket in another room. The extra handsets eliminate the need for all the telephone wires.

I only use Uniden phones. They are reasonably priced and good quality. I have had bad luck with most all brands of phones, especially V-Tech, they make a lot of racket. Which ever brand you choose, be sure and keep the receipt and return it to the store if you aren't happy with it. The customer is always right you know!

Do NOT buy AT&T branded cordless phone. It sounds like your listening/talking with a tin can. Whatever you buy, just dont buy that one! I returned mine within 6hours after buying it. It was the worst phone I have EVER used!

I suggest GE. I have had the same GE dual handset cordless for 3years now and both handsets are on the original battery.

Panasonic and VTech have great quality, they last for years and they aren't very expensive.

I have the latest Panasonic 5.8; I am impressed with the following features:

Talking Caller ID
Color Display
Downloadable pics and ring tones
You can synch your address book

Sony...avoid them. The features don't work the way they should, and the phone falls apart 2 minutes after the warranty is over.

Uniden...I had one once. I don't remember why I didn't buy it again.

I would say Panasonic. As with their TVs etc, the phones are of excellent quality and durability. They are recommended by Bell Telephone here in Canada, that company being one of the largest phone companies in the world. We have had one for over 6 years and it is still functioning very well with no problems at all.

One.Tel.

Reasonable priced, specialise in phones (unlike certain manufacturers) and good quality.

I have some- easy to use, and have the extra features (address book, etc.) that you would want.
