How good is Startec Global Communications's calls to India and are really as cheap as they claim or are there

any drawbacks?

It's been a while since I used Startec, but, at that time, it was pretty reliable in getting a connection. Only the bigger LD companies, with their greater switch presences, do a better job in getting through internationally. And the rates are competitive. Keep an eye out for their rate adjustments, as they occasionally do get better, and you need to call Customer Service to take advantage of them.
