Helppppppppp!?

Question

I have a Sony CyberShot Camera...

Basically, whenever I take a picture it starts "recording" a still movie (i think) for 5 to 10 seconds..automatically!

I don't want that to happen..I just want a picture taken not a recording too!

How do I fix that?! It automatically happens.....

The model no. is DSC-P10... 5 Mega Pixels (just in case you wanna no!)

You need to change the Mode Dial (when you're looking at the back, it's the knob on top on the right side). There is a picture that looks like a camera -- it needs to line up with the oval dot. Right now, you have a picture that looks like a piece of movie film lined up with it.
