I want to get a surround sound speakers for my living room. My current setup is listed below. I don't want to blow the neighbors away with sheer volume, but am just looking for a good crisp surround sound effect...for games and movies. I don't have a reciever and was wondering if I would need one in addition to speakers?

My TV is a Sony KD-34XBR960
I have an XBOX 360 with HD DVD player

I had a question on even going online with the psp. seriously! i have a linksys wireless G broadband speedbooster router, and my router, i think, works just great. but when i turn on the psp and try connecting to the internet (online play, internet, network update, ANYTHING!) it always gets to the obtaining IP address and then 30 seconds later, it times out. EVRY SINGLE TIME!!!

please, anyone please help me! what do i need to do?

The HDMI cables and plugs are going to updated to new HDMI 3.1 for HDTV's next year. Will I be able to tell the difference in the picture quality? Will it be like the clarity close to 1080P should be or will that make no difference? Which TV's will have them available?

For computer savvys only I suppose, especially if you know what i'm talking about.

If i plug in a "line in" cable in a mp3 player and attach the other side to my laptop while a song is playing. Will the mp3 player record it? && do i have to get a special line in cable? or is all of them pretty standard?
