I'm about to upgrade to 21st century, but all I need to do right now is sync a hybrid via the PC rather than pay my carrier(Cingular) the xtra $/mo for air time (I know I can do it on-air). I would like to sync with Yahoo calendar/contacts/tasks. Pretty much the basics for using a PDA. I don't need music, games, other fluff. I do have DSL or T1 access to Yahoo. Which devices (if any) are best suited? Or is that even possible with Yahoo at this time?

-more info- I do not use Outlook or other local client. All my work is done directly on-line via Yahoo Beta mail, calendar, etc. Yahoo beta mail is also the front end for 6 other domain email addresses.

How difficult is text messaging to do on a cell phone? I want to send someone a pretty long message, and plan to do it by text message on my cell. I've never done this before. I have a basic Sprint phone. The manual to it is... somewhere. I can find where to read text messages, but not type and send them. Also, if there are three letters to each number key, how do you select which letter that you want? Could someone give me the basics? I don't want to mess it up. Thanks.

I thought I was getting my cable back today, but it's not so I'm stuck with this antennae for another few weeks at least. I don't know the brand but it plugs into the wall and has a big flat plastic dish-like thing in the middle and it lets you adjust the gain. Problem is it doesn't seem to get very good reception at all. Part of the problem is that we're on the bottom floor of an apartment and I think the wiring in other apartments may affect the signal sometimes. Is there something I can buy or do to boost the power of this anennae so I can watch TV without getting a headache?

Hi! Please...I have a SONY DSC-S50 Cyber-shot digital camera, and I believe it's time for a battery replacement. The model number on my battery is: NP-FM50. This battery is the original battery and it came with the camera. It's labled as an "infolithium" battery. Please, is it mandatory that I order a SONY replacement battery, in particular, or am I safe in ordering a compatible lithium battery online or elsewhere? If so, which online site is recommended? One site suggested that sometimes third-party batteries don't always work in SONY digital cameras. Sony, naturally, suggests that I use their brand of accessories. I am still quite the novice and any/all advice regarding this subject will be greatly appreciated! Thank you! :)

Wide angle is best I am told, but several to choose from (12mm, 17-55mm, 20mm, 24mm, 28mm) and what does the f stop mean? Is it best to get an adjustable like f/3.5-5.6 or a lower number for interiors in case lighting is not so good? I want to be able to stand in the doorway of a small bathroom and take a picture of the entire room, as well as entire kitchens, dining rooms, etc. Any suggestions on lighting/flash to use would be helpful as well as the lenses.

I've had my phone for well over a year, infact I will be able to upgrade my phone in March 07. Unfortunatly my phone fried last night. I don't know whats wrong with it. Its just all screwed up. when you make a call all you can hear is a super loud whistling noise.

So heres the deal. Do I happen to loose the phone or do I tell the insurance people its broken. I'm afraid that they are just going to want to fix it and that is a long drawn out bunch of BS.

Also if anyone knows? How much is it going to suck if I try and upgrade from my crappy phone to a motorolla right now?

My friend has a good McCulloch hand drill. the battery charger does not work.Is there a place he can buy obsolete electrical parts. the # is CJ72. Mc Culloch dosen't sell or repair small electronics any more. I think it is beyond repair.
