My friend has a good McCulloch hand drill. the battery charger does not work.Is there a place he can buy obsolete electrical parts. the # is CJ72. Mc Culloch dosen't sell or repair small electronics any more. I think it is beyond repair.

You've already answered the Q, in part, and to do the research and find what is needed will likely be more $$$ related effort than a new cordless of any brand.

Cordless appliances/tools are certainly a blessing in todays contracting world, but they are still designed,,, even if subtly, to be a disposable item. Planned obsolescense is a fact of our society, and very realistically one that seems to be accepted.

Pricing, and the technology create an issue that nudges us into BUY NEW,,,even at times when OLD still works!
