I have heard mixed reviews, mostly bad. I have not played it. Another indication to me about this game is how low the boards posts have been at Gamefaqs.com about this game. Most of the bad I've heard is how tedious and boring it is. Not enough "action." I feel like EA has depended on the NFL exclusive licensure for this game, and it was their attempt to make a quick buck, instead of relying on a good idea supported by good programming to make an exciting game.
I have high hopes that a next version of this franchise will be more successful.
