Sounds like the motor is overheating or possibly a circuit on the circuit board. Do you or have you noticed any funny smells when it is running does the motor feel hot when it stops. Call someone if you don't have any experiencing trouble shooting electrical problems.

Probably getting an electrical short of some kind.
Check the cord first, if it appears broken or kinked, you may be able to just replace the cord on it. If the problem is in the board, it may be able to be fixed, but you'd have to know what you're doing or call someone who does.

I used to work at Sears. If it stops there is definitley something wrong with it. You could need a new belt, or their could be dust in and around the belt. Call the company you bought it from!

check the motor it may be going bad. If it has an auto overload on it I will shut off when Hot and reset it self when cool
