I am going to Africa to take pictures of documents in archives. The materials are not in good shape and the archive is poorly lit with flourescent lights. I've heard that some digital cameras have a feature that is especially useful for taking black and white pictures (although these would be primarily ivory/beige and black). Has anyone heard of that or could you give me suggestions of brands, models that would best do the job? Any resources out there especially for people working in archives? Thank you.

Can anyone tell me if there is a place I can look to find out the naming for small electric connectors such as those used for battery packs and AM antennae? I know these connectors have to have some sort of naming convention, but all anyone seems to be able to tell me is to take the connector to the store and match up to what is there. I would like to find somewhere to buy these connectors loose and install them myself

I have a Sprint phone and my parents pay for it. I have a friend who lives in New Zealand and wants to call me. If he called, I need to find out if his incoming call would show up as international, or if it would give his details, etc. We do not have a plan that supports international calls. Please any help would be appreciated.

i have a panasonic Mini DV pal Digital Video Camera and i have made some videos on the Panasonic DVC tapes. I need to know how to transfer these files from the DVC Tapes to a DVD ?

I am all new to this ipod stuff & I just got mine in the mail today! I have about 700 songs in limewire that I am wanting to sort in playlists in itunes, then upload to my ipod... I enqueued all my songs in limewire, but only 150 or so songs are showing up in my itunes library. Help me please! See, I have one lying around and I forgot what the heck it's for! I think you can use it with a digital camera but I'm not sure how. You could also plug it into a modem right? I have a modem and it works fine without it though... Can you please give me some uses for an AC adaptor? Thanks guys.
