I spent 3 Months researching 'What Panel TV'
I came to the Conclusion that LCD TV is Far superior Picture for the money than Plasma.
LCD has better Longevity and The Luminescence of Color resolution is also far superior(When Sourcing from HD Source, or HD DVD)
For Normal Broadcasts the standard CRT Tube is best(But Nothing above 24 Inches,as Distortion can adversely affect viewing ratios)
The Down-side is BLUE RAY isn't fully available, and is Very Expensive at the moment!
HD DVD is Also NOT Cheap and Fully available, as too is HD Broadcasts.(*)
I Opted for a Broadcast based Monitor and purchased a Panasonic LCD (32 Inch , Viera Panel).
Has 2 HDMI inputs and enough technology built in for the next 5 years.

LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon), which is a rear projection unit is the best picture at the moment. Especially if you are using a XBOX 360 or PS3 when it comes out. JVC and Sony are the primary LCOS sellers.
All the above mentioned TV types can do HDTV. Plasma and LCD are flat panels which are normally only a couple of inches thick.

Plasma display monitors are only a few inches thin-providing installation options never before possible. Immunity from magnetic fields
Because plasma displays do not use electron beams, as conventional CRT displays do, they are immune to the effects of magnetic fields. Components such as loudspeakers that contain strong magnets can distort the picture if placed too close a standard TV (which has a CRT). On the other hand, plasma displays can be placed in close proximity to any type of loudspeaker and not experience image distortion.

i might say a great show, because of the fact at the instant movies are made for them, be conscious the way initiating credit are being chopped off the sting of a generic show television. the conventional relies upon on how lots you're arranged to pay, extra valuable determination and all that. yet once you wait a collectively as they're going to come down in cost like maximum issues and would need ironed out any bugs that comprise new innovations.
