my friend wanted to get a tmobile phone where you pay a monthly bill. But they asked for a $500 deposit (my friend got mad).

-Is it normal for tmobile? Or is it because of no credit/bad credit

2- name phone companies that dont ask for a deposit.

3- what plan should one sign up with if they have "no credit"

I'm looking to buy a digital camera and I realized, I don't know what any of this stuff means!
What is digital and optical zoom, and the difference or importance of them?
What do all these terms mean?

-Central/Spot/Matrix Metering

I know, it's a lot to describe, but i'd really appriciate the help, if i know what these mean maybe i won't get ripped off.

I am pretty sure that when I was a kid, my dad did it a few time on some cords. He would buy a spare plug the you would put the stripped wires of the cord into, then close the flap down. Do they still make these things, what are they called, where can I find them and is there anything else I should understand about them before I buy and install it?

My puppy chewed the cord on an extra tv my mom gave me, and I want to use it so, I need to fix it.

This is assuming that the pod is in disk mode, and nothing is being transferred between the pod and computer.

I guess it's not that important, but it would be nice to not have to click "eject" every time.

i used O2 mini since 6 month ago and the prob is my device sometimes could possibility send a sms doubled by itself,. i had got it hard reset and it could fix da problem but just for a while coz it keep send doubled again. anyone know bout the setting?? or posibillity an update software maybe??thx dude,.
