Do you know HOW to BE a good detective (amateur)?

Pls. give me tips: l
like how to investigate, what are the detecive equipments needed to investigte?, advices, precautions when sleuthing? what to do before sleuthing?, etc.

Just stick to the basics: Binoculars, sunglasses, and a camera with a good lens. As for the sleuthing, just watch out, keep your distance but don't get too far away because you might loose the person you're spying on. To get ready for sleuthing, mentally prepare yourself for being as patient as possible, it takes a long time. If you have anymore questions, just watch 24, Jack Bauer is really good at it. :)
