Can I unlock a cell phone on my own computer?

I want to unlock a sony ericcson k750i and will a t-mobile pre-paid sim card work after I unlock it

check out gsmliberty.com, and if you get a guy named jason, you've really lucked out. don't get me wrong, everyone's helpful there.

they've got codes to unlock just about everything and definitely helped me out in the past.
