Can anyone recommend a good cordless home phone that has clear reception and the least static? Right now I have a Uniden 2.4Ghz cordless phone and it's terrible - my cell phone gets better reception!

I had a probem just today where I went over my monthly airtime. They told me that I got charged minutes for everytime someone calls my phone and the voicemail picks up wheter they leave a message or not. I think the is horrible business. Does anyone know that they do this and if it is listed in the Terms and Conditions.

When I transfer videos from my palmcorder to my computer, the video gets a little distorted and blurry. Is there anyway to fix this. I changed the resolution to the highest possible. Please Help???
