Spindle Adaptor. The older 78 RPM records and the newer 33 RPM records had a small hole that fit on the spindle that sat in the middle of the turntable.

Good question! It took me months to find one when I needed one. What happened to the hundreds I had when I was a kid? Anyway, we just call them 45 adapters. Have a great day.
