cingular could care less about their customers' problems. I bought a new phone six months ago (160 bucks) and one of the hinges fell off. I had no protection from the manufacturer (moto) and cingular called it damage. It was clearly a defective product with no scratches, but the missing hinge was called "damage."
These companies are so big that they begin to care less and less about 1 persons business. I ended up paying $50 deductible on an insurance claim for a refurbished version of the same piece of garbage. It'll break in 6 months. Avoid cingular and avoid Motorola (esp. Razr)

I don't work for Cingular... but I'm very confident in recommending their services. Their customer service is great! I had Verizon for 2 years and hated every moment of it. Their customer service was the worst! (I'm from Indiana.) They screwed up my phone line a few times and really... it was a nightmare from start to finish.

T-mobile, I have had verizon ( even back when it was primeco) , Nextel and T-mobile is the best so far, Verizon is a bunch of crooks.they will steal from you and until you prove they stole from you they will never admit it. Nextel charges too much and doesn't include the basics except for an additional charge, like voice mail, caller Id. etc.
