My digital electronics teacher bet our class $20 that nobody could find an example of a digital device that when "reset" (as with a JK flip flop) enters in anything other than a Zero into the device. If you do know of an example i need the application and the circuit diagram.

Basically, I just bought a DVD recorder for my TV set. It's a lesser expensive Panasonic. I like to watch and record TV shows. I only watch them once. Then I like to re-record over them like you do with a VHS tape.

I know I can do this with a DVD-RW, but my question is: Once I finalize this disc to play on a different DVD player, can I erase it again? Or once it's finalized, it becomes a "read only" DVD even though its a DVD-RW.

My phone is a Verizon CDM-8910. It takes a pin charger, and the pin is loose. I know for a fact that it is not the charger. For a long time I could still get it to charge if I messed with it for a while. But in the past couple of days it will no longer charge unless I sit there and hold the charger in a certain place. The guy at the store says there is no other way to charge this type of phone. Is there any way to fix the loose pin so I won't have to get a new phone?
