It depends how much months you have left on your contract..
Your contract gets near the expiration date.. Your penalties get cheaper..
I'm with Cingular. I called and ask them the same question you ask.. They told me $300 to cancel within 1 month start of your contract.. well I already have a year now, I called them back. They told me my penalty is only a $100 now..
See It gets cheaper when you near your contract due date.
They are all the same!!
