You are recieving digital signals along with transcieving signals. The wireless system of your cell is interfering with your computer. I am assuming that you have a wireless mouse, keyboard or other wireless system on your computer. Computer's have a failsafe to block certain signals. Thus, the flickering of your monitor means it is receiving a wireless signal and is blocking it. It is actually your cell sending a tracking signal out for the text messaging it is receiving that causes the interference. No harm really just to close to the computer.
