My phone is a Verizon CDM-8910. It takes a pin charger, and the pin is loose. I know for a fact that it is not the charger. For a long time I could still get it to charge if I messed with it for a while. But in the past couple of days it will no longer charge unless I sit there and hold the charger in a certain place. The guy at the store says there is no other way to charge this type of phone. Is there any way to fix the loose pin so I won't have to get a new phone?

You say it is not the charger.
If it is, you can buy one on Ebay for $7

Try just wiggling the wire at the connector without moving anything else. The wire usually breakes at the end of the wire where it attaches to the connector. If that is the case you can probably just replace the connector, but it is simpler to get the Ebay version.

If it is the phone, sounds like the internal power jack has broken from the circuit board. If you know a technician friend, he/she might be able to reattach, but doubtful.
On the other hand, you might try replacing the defective connector.
Buy a broken phone on Ebay, I see one for $15 for parts with LCD screen damaged. Swap the parts.

I also have a Verizon phone, and pay $5 extra/mo for free loss/replacment if damaged, guess you dont have that.

I am in Dallas if that helps.
