I have a Hughes Directv DVR with Tivo. Periodically it needs to call some number to get new program information. Every time it attempts to make a call I get the following error messages. "Service is Not Answering" or "Connection Failure". I have checked my phone lines and I can hear the DVR make a call on my home phone. I have done all the trouble shooting tips except for 1. I don't have a phone line in my living room. I have a wireless phone jack by Belkin that transmits the signal to the kitchen (about 25 feet). Is it possible the jack isn't receiving incoming signals and can only output? Any other suggestions?

I wuz looking 4 a laptop 2 buy and sum article on the side of the page said microsoft is making an mp3 player. so I checked it out and it said it's called zune, so I checked it in google news. It has a million or so random ppl blogging about it like they know everything, so I wanted 2 know who already knew about microsoft making a player, if it's really gonna look like that (check the pix on google news when u type zune), the price, and when it'll come out. thnx.

ok i have a samsung phone and i was babysitting and i gave the baby a bath and i dropped the phone in the bath someone told me to take the battery off for 24 hours but that doesnt seem to work any other suggestion (other than throwing it away or getting a new phone?) it turns on but then it just dials tons of different numbers and i cant dial the 2 5 8 0 so like what do i do? i cant afford another phone

Hi Friends,

I have to fit an Air Conditioner in a big glass window, please suggest should I fit at the bottom or at the top of the glass window to minimise vibrations because I know the window would vibrate a little. So just wanted to know does the vibrations of AC travel upwards or downwards.
