Hi Friends,

I have to fit an Air Conditioner in a big glass window, please suggest should I fit at the bottom or at the top of the glass window to minimise vibrations because I know the window would vibrate a little. So just wanted to know does the vibrations of AC travel upwards or downwards.

Gravity has no effect on vibration, you should fit the air conditioner on the stable part of the window, the window pane will vibrate causing it to shift

Vibration will travel all directions. I'd suggest you'd place it at the bottom for you can mount the unit more securely at the bottom. It will reduce movement and in turn, it will reduce vibrations.
