check out the buy/sell/trade section at http://www.xbox-scene.com they always have a couple of 360's for sale. also, browse ebay... there are still a bunch of consoles running around on their still in the box. another thing you might do is check out http://forums.llamma.com they have a bunch of guys on there who mod xboxes. they may have an extra one laying around they want to sell
also, stores like eb games, gamestop and such usually only give about 50 bucks for an orig xbox so.... see if you can sell it on ebay or something first

at gamestop my bro got 70$ back, also, at gamestop in my area at least they were doing a special if you trade in xbox you get $80 toward xbox 360. or you could sell it on ebay, and buy the 360 on ebay. just check the condition and make sure it says new. also, for the xbox, thisll sound wierd, start the bidding at a few dollars. all you need is two bids and you get lots of money

don't start the bidding at a couple of dollars on ebay, its to old of a product if u start bids at $5 then i can gurrantty it will sell for about $10, but if i were you i would sell it on ebay or craigslist.com, i always see xbox's with a few accesories going for about $150 belive it or not, as for a 360 go to craigslist, i just saw a premium 360 with 3 games and someother stuff for $250, so yeah go to craigslist.com

Game stop will only give you about 80 dollars store credit and only 65 dollars cash. go to bestbuy.com for 360 bundels they have pretty good deals good lluck I hope you find what you are looking for

a couple months back i sold an xbox on ebay for what i paid for it. but that was right after the 360 came out. i dunno what u could get now.
