I got ribbons after looking around OfficeMax and Office Depot quite a bit. If they're not in stock in the local store (which is likely) ask them to check their catalog and special order it. And check every ribbon package that looks similar to see if it's compatible. Just 'cause it says "IBM Selectric" in big letters on the front doesn't mean it's not compatible with anything else.

Ink ribbons become obsolete, if still using ribbon type writer than try to use NC paper..

go to your local Office Supply in town the small indepent ones not your local big box chain stores thats where we got ours from we thought we wouldve been out of luck but the small hometown office supply store had it
