Ok, here's the problem when i try to save a file or open a file, it freezes up and everthing, and it closes whtever i am using, like if i want to save my windows movie maker file, i click on save or save as, than it just freezes up for some reason i wait and it says not responding, and it closes, i have noron antivirus and it's not a virus issue or registry issue, i download and installed windowsblind and an xp theme, than that problem occured, i than uninstalled it, and it did not fix it, i have tried everthing, can someone plz help, i can't even restore my computer because vista won't restore for some reason, help me plz.

can anyone tell me what program i can run on task manager to keep my desktop and backround from disapearing?! like everytime i log on my desktop and everything goes blank.. all i can see is the backround that i have.. no links no desktop no nothing.. and its so anoying because my omputer keeps shaking and lagging so slow now.. so is there a program i can RUN to keep it up?? only way i can get my desktop back is if i run EXPLORER.EXE on task manager.., that makes everything come back but only 4 like 10 seconds so i gotta be quick .. then when it goes blank my internet is still up but it keeps on shaking and lagging..

Can anyone recommend scheduling software that competes with MS Project? I've been using version 2000 and have been plagued by its numerous bugs. I am considering purchasing a more recent version but would first like to review competing applications.

If you can let me know how the other applications differ from MS Project I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

ok heres the problem i have a spreadsheet file. and its my inventory sheet. the prices i have on the sheet. i want to increase all the prices at once. increase $5.00 more. how can i do this. with out having to include a formula in the sheet.

so imagine column A: has prices........all i want to do is ADD 5 more buck to the prices in column A.

I've recently burned an ISO image file to a empty disk. However, when I open the disk after it's been burned... it's only showing that same ISO file. Usually I can burn the image to disk and then load it... but it's not working like that for this time. I even downloaded an .ISO burner... but it's still not letting me access the .ISO disk image.

this is something that is preventing me to update my computer. if anyone knows how i can prove to them that my copy of windows is genuine like downloading something. My computer has gotten so slow because of not being able to download all the updates needed. please help!!!

what's the best software to make pdf files?
i hope it can make best quality, less time, and small size in the harddisk.
i use dreamweaver make webs and transfor it into pdf format with acrobat professional 8, do you think it's good?
could you suggest me other ways which are better than it?

Hi,
What is the best remote access/control program (that works with vista) so i can connect to my computer at home through my computer that i am using at college.
I am also going through the school's network so that means i am going through a router as well.
I have dowloaded Radmin which works well on vista, but how do i get remote access to a computer over the internet?

So when I started the computer after shutting it down. It said that we are going to run a disc consistency check. It started deleting files and moving folders. After that the computer restarted and it goes to a black screen that gives you choices of safe mode, start windows normally, and start windows from last working configuration. I did all 3 and it keeps restarting over and over and goes back to the black screen. Please help me.

i am sending off an art portfolio and the entries have to be compatible with a mac os x. my computer runs windows xp. if i make a cd of my images (cd-r) will the mac os x user be able to open them? if not, what do i need to do to burn a cd that they will be able to access?

On the slide number, there is a small square with a slash through it! I don't know what to do. It works when I transfer the pictures to a new slide, but I have so many slides this will be difficu;lt. Is there an easier way to solve this problem?
