Budget software?

Question

does anyone have a recommendation for budget software that is simple and will do what i want it to; not what it wants me to do. I almost just want a empty template that i can fill out and it will add and subtract and categorize for me.

elfa, It's safe to assume you missed the whole "budget" aspect of my post. Please brush up on your reading comprehension before you attempt to condescend.

have you considered using excel or openoffice calc to make a spreadsheet? you could design it from ground up to be exactly how you want it to be. Alternatively, you could download a template from the microsoft website and either use it as is or modify it to suit your needs.
