Hi,
What is the best remote access/control program (that works with vista) so i can connect to my computer at home through my computer that i am using at college.
I am also going through the school's network so that means i am going through a router as well.
I have dowloaded Radmin which works well on vista, but how do i get remote access to a computer over the internet?
-Thank you

The BEST is probably Gotomypc, many businesses use it- but it's not free after the evaluation period. There's a recurring monthly fee.

The problem with a free program that runs solely on your home computer is that you need a static IP address to conveniently access it from college. Whenever that address assigned by your ISP changes , you'll need to use the new address, and change the port forwarding in your router's configuration (since routers don't allow unsolicited traffic in)

With GotomyPC, the host program simply checks the GotomyPC servers to find out when clients are trying to establish a connection to that machine, so routers/firewalls don't interfere.

Try GoToMyPC service. It is a paid service which allows you to connect to your PC securely. Here's their website
