i have wildblue. i have had it for about 2 months and the speed has drastically decreased. the first day i got it it was very fast and would load youtube videos so u could watch them right as u clicked them. now u have 2 wait like 20 minutes for a 3 min. vid . what happened

Run a virus scan,you might have got infected.

Also check your task bar.If you are using a lot of programs at the same time,that will decrease your speed.

I would raise a ticket with your ISP and ask them to test your line.

Also before doing that. Maybe before going to bed tonight. Unplug it completely and turn it all off.

Maybe tomorrow it will be better.

Sometimes the settings at the exchange can drift over time.So disconnecting for long periods can bring them back.

If its ADSL & in the UK your ISP should be able to run a thing called a woosh test on the line.

If your not in the UK i would suspect your isp will have something similar.

Can't connect to the web, losing your connection or your access speed is way slower than advertised?

If you are unhappy with their service, you MUST contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP), that's what they do!!!

Often, they aren't even aware of a problem, unless you tell them.

TIP: Just make sure your router settings, if you use one, are correct first, AND your PC isn't infected with malware.
