Back up your important files like pictures and such to a DVD or to a external hard drive.

Download WinborgXP November 2007 edition. http://sharethefiles.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=49284&highlight=winborg

Burn it to a DVD.

Then do a fresh install deleting Vista.

Then you won't have that problem.

There are too many things that it could be. I think your best bet would be to try to restore the computer. You've said that you cannot because vista won't let you. If you have window's vista, then your computer cannot be that old. If this is true, look for all the disks that came with it and there should be a restore disk to fix this problem. If not, call your manufacturer about the issue and they will help you resolve it. At the very worst, you can format the drive and install XP on it instead as you seem to be willing to ruin vista with a faulty program like "WindowBlinds".

I agree with the person who told you to get a mac. Mac's are the industry standard for running multi media such as movie maker. In order to run those kinds of programs, you have to have a super fast processor and plenty of memory. It's takes a ton of power to render and multi media project and if you have a ton of other programs installed in addition to movie maker, and especially if they are running in the background, your computer probably does not have the capiacity to process it all at the same time. I would save your data files to a DVD. and then uninstall the program. Restart your computer and if the problem is no longer there, you know what the culprit was and you need more memory and faster processor. You can also get another hard drive to store all of your media files to save space. I have been through all of this myself when I first started to produce multi media for my clients. I never got a mac, but I sure as heck upgraded my PC.

Vista uses a lot of memory. It may be that your computer's memory is insufficient to save another document - especially if you are running wallpaper, screensaver, and have half dozen other things loaded on the Start Menu.

He might additionally no longer save you so based by ability of refusing to allow you artwork and not supply you cash. you're actually not too comfortable, after a on a similar time as once you're in an abusive relationship people start to think of its their very own fault, that they do incorrect stuff or reason the topics, etc. the difficulty right that's with your husband/boyfriend. you ought to get a lawyer and record for divorce. and likewise get some counseling for a on a similar time as i think of. And get finished custody IMO, make him pay toddler help yet while he thinks your daughter is 'stressful' and made you progression out because of the fact of her definitely i would not leave her with him unsupervised. ETA- Hitting a guy with a coke can as quickly as and slapping him while he deserved it do no longer destroy a relationship and make a classic individual act this way. he's have been given issues that don't have something to do with you or the flaws you do. additionally, ascertain you tell your lawyer approximately while he threatened to kill you.

Reboot. If you still can't do what you wanna do, then you should reboot yet again, but this time, when the computer starts up press F8 again and again until a menu pops up. (it will not go into Windows but instead will present you with a menu). If you can't see this menu, reboot and try again, and start pressing F8 just after the computer beeps (when restarting), and press F8 at least once a second.

Then choose "safe mode" (any version of safe mode you like, except command line).

Then run system restore when it boots up into safe mode.

well I'm not really sure but your computer might not be able to handle windows movie maker, if you are using large files for windows movie maker the computer might slow down or in your case it might just freeze. things that you can try are probably use smaller files, if it still has a problem stop using it or get a better computer

It might be a RAM issue, make sure u have plenty installed. Adding a new program that runs in your background like for themes will drain your RAM and Vista requires a lot of RAM to run. Also check for spy ware. You may have that too. You can run it through a quick test online at www.PCpitstop.com That site is sponsored by CompUSA. Good luck

I don't know that much about computers but you can go to your start menu and go to control panal and click on your internet options and try clearing all cookies and files and history and see if maybe your computer is just too bogged down. Maybe you don't have enough space. Try doing a disk clean up and a disk defragmenter u can find those in programs under accessories Good Luck
