Hate to say, but is a common problem with Clearwire. They will tell you what the system can do, but cannot really tell you what it will do at your location. Some of their sales people are a little over zealous. Also, you will find Major suppliers will throttle the download to keep bandwidth availabe for all users. They won't tell you, but it is in the really fine print of the contract. Again, some get too regulatory in the action.

goto google and type modem speed test. on the site, run the test. it will tell you where are modem speed is or should be.
