My friend borrowed the game when i bought it and he lost the cd key so i was wondering if i can have some help please and when i posted this means i am not playing command and conquer im doing nothing but waiting for a reply for gods sake somone please help me!!

It is an HP Pavilion a1355c. My brother got a virus on my computer about 2 weeks ago, and it erased my hard drive. when I try and install ANY version of Windows (Windows XP Pro and Windows Vista Ultimate), it installs just fine, but when the computer starts after installation, it just keeps restarting. I installed Kubuntu Linux and I don't get the infinite reboots. Please help! I need to fix this computer ASAP! and also, I need to know if this is a hardware or a software failure. Thanks!

The virus wiped my hard drive.. and I have an XP Pro disc and a Vista Ultimate disc... :( and the Windows installation won't work at all...only Linux works.

Hello to All,

Gotta a situation here. To be blunt, I am not much of a computer whiz. My Vista loads with a bar at the bottom of my screen that says Microsoft Corporation. then it go's to a black screen and then my mouse pointer pops up. I can move that pointer just fine, but it is just a black screen. Anyone have any clues? Yes- I ran the install DVD and ran all the repairs.

I am familiar with XP a bit, but Vista seems to be built on something called a BCD manager. I do not think it is the boot as it gets past the bar (progressing bar?) and that means it is the GUI, correct? What controls the Vista GUI and how can I repair it? step by step help would be great as I have very important family photos on there. My email is blade_begins@yahoo.com. If you know a lot about Vista, give me all the help you can....step by step, however you want so I can get this booting to my desktop.

I use Mircrosoft Works 8 on my other PC, but I need to get the files to Microsoft Word. I can't open the files with the latter. Copy/paste does not work. Will it work if I copy the script to WordPad, save it, and then copy it over to works?

It takes an additional 3 or 4 minutes for my computer to be ready since it is busy loading I tunes.

Everytime I try to download mozilla firefox, my internet explorer says it has encountered an error and must restart. It has done is like 20 times now. I dont like internet explorer, anyone know how I can get by this?

inurl:view/index.shtml type this in a google search, you will be shocked literally, of how many live cameras are exposed. Some cameras of stores and streets, traffic ones for the police. inurl:view/index.shtml type this in a goodle search,... and tell me what you think, are these real? I recomend using firefox internet explorer doesnt load the cams for me.. This seems very weird to me.. People just have acess to these kinds of things.

Fisrt off, I need to know if pictures can be changed with powerpoint while music is playing such as...

If you have a picture of a person and you make their mouth move (sort of the way that southpark does it, just cut the mouth off and make it move)? I want it to look like someone is singing the song but I don't know how to do this.

If you can help me out then I would greatly appreciate it. also if you have other videos or art is there a way to make them go straight into video while the slide show is playing? Instead of having the icon on the screen to clisck to make the video start?

Im using autosurf, but usually webs have sounds, and i just dont want to hear any sound commming from website since i want to hear my music.
ANy way how? (I would like if it's possible to mozzilla, if not, then tell me in IE, if not, tell me in what.)

I removed 60 virus (?) threats off it with AVG anti virus and the boot up improved from 10 hours to 1 hr. So it appears to be a software problem. next thing I will try is Spy Bot for adware. I checked msconfig and don't see junk booting up there. Anything else I can do to fix this?

It won't let me sign into AIM 6.5. It says "Invalid AIM Server Address"

So I would like to go back to the simpler AIM...

I can't find where to download 6.0 though, since it is no longer on the main website?

I think it was called Geologia, but i can't find anything by that name on the internet. it came in a large green box and what it was about was different scenes from all over the earth. I think one of the images on the box was the inside of a cave.

everytime i wanna play a game, whether it be an online rpg or cd-rom game.. like downloaded for both.. whenever i play.. lets say Sid Meier's Pirates.. it says "Sid Meir's pirates has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience".
and then 3 buttons on the bottom that says debug, send or dont send error report..
and then when i wanna play kalonline(rpg game) .. i click kalonline.exe to play and it says same thing but instead of side meier's pirates it says "kalonline.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close". and whenever i click any of the buttons the game exits out!
help!

I have Adobe Prof 8 and am trying to figure out how to edit a .pdf file. It seems that the .pdf files converted directly from word or Excel are editable. However, if I use a scanner and scanner these documents into .pdf files, Adobe Prof treats them like pictures and I can not edit the texts. Can anyone help please?

I want to update my parents address book for Christmas using printed labels. I thought it would be best to type in all the addresses in microsoft word, and then print them on labels. However, I can't seem to format it correctly! Can anyone please tell me the easiest way to go about this?
