i hve accer 4170z model laptop.i can't load the windows xp or other windows .only the vista version is work there. but i came to knw that its possible to load the other windows also not only vista.one change or setting have to set up there .so have here any great people who knows the procedure to load other windows without vista.

I bought a 2nd hand laptop with it already on, I have a proper copy that I can use but that will require backing up everything on the laptop which will take time, auto-updates has now been disabled by me, can I continue to use the laptop without a problem or will it freeze after 30 days? is a reinstall the only option I have?

I want to activate my Windows XP with genuine product key, but it is telling me that I cannot use this product key because I have run out of the number of times it can be used. It also said that I will need to enter another product key to activate the Windows XP, meaning i will have to buy another OS?

So, I go on internet explorer, type in : www.runescape.com, it goes on to the site, and after a few seconds the whole window freezes! so o go CTRL + ALT + DEL,and click end task on Task Manager, and try again, THE SAME THING HAPPENS!! (NOTE:I hvae windows Vista)

I heard it's going to be awesome. With inpenetratable security, flip 3D, an awesome (not resource hogging) Aero interface that will make you piss yourself with joy, DirectX10 support, Windows Media Center, the NOT ANNOYING AT ALL user account control. I also heard it's going to be light and fast... And stable. Man that Bill Gates is a nice fellow to bring us such a great operating system.

I want a program similar to Paint. The one that comes with Windows. It doesn't need to be fancy -- Just the basics, but I need one that when you add text to an image it doesn't put a white box around it.

Are there any free programs that do this? Or will they all put the box around it. And don't tell me Photoshop.

I just downloaded a bunch of songs (NOT using iTunes) and I know how to get them into iTunes (the old drag-and-drop), but I would like to sort the files in iTunes by date. The songs that I just downloaded will be made into a playlist for a party - so I don't want to have to weed through my whole list of songs on iTunes just to find them. Is there any easy way to find the ones I recently downloaded, after I put them in iTunes?

I would like to download a secondary operating system that is free (i.e. with windows xp). I hear Linux is good. What is the best free version (obviously one version is Freespire).

I don't do a whole lot on the computer. It has 18.6 GB of space total, about 11 or 10 GB left. I listen to music generally.
