I want to activate my Windows XP with genuine product key, but it is telling me that I cannot use this product key because I have run out of the number of times it can be used. It also said that I will need to enter another product key to activate the Windows XP, meaning i will have to buy another OS?

The screen will ask you if you want to add a new product key. Say yes (by phone) and it will give you a number to call Microsoft. They will give you a new number to enter to activate XP.

"You can reinstall Windows on the same computer as many times as you want because activation pairs the Windows product key with information about your computer’s hardware. If you make a significant hardware change, you might have to activate Windows again."

Call Microsoft if it is ur puter tell activate it for u if your loading on diff puter u can buy more licenses a lot cheaper then continually buying new OEM disks

It is possible, the number has been used for too many tiomes. Please check up with Microsoft people, they are so nice.. Good luck.
