When I go on www.runescape.com, my internet freezes, so i have to use task manager to exit it, but why?

So, I go on internet explorer, type in : www.runescape.com, it goes on to the site, and after a few seconds the whole window freezes! so o go CTRL + ALT + DEL,and click end task on Task Manager, and try again, THE SAME THING HAPPENS!! (NOTE:I hvae windows Vista)

Sometimes I can manage to get onto the actual game, but only for a short while, then it freezes,but only my character does,the people around me dont!

NOW, every time I try I get to the select high or low detial bit nad it freezes, and I have the latest Java

your anti-virus could be blocking you access to this website

open your anti-virus and look through the access webpage section and change the access pages

Is it when you first go to the runescape site or when you select your world. If its when the java is loading then you might need to update that. If its when you open runescape.com IDK.
