AutoShapes allows you to create drawings or flowcharts in Microsoft Word.
WordArt allows you to produce special effects in text, such as headings, in the document.
The Clipboard creates a record of the objects that you have copied and can be pasted into the document.
A text box is an adjustable box that you can write text into.

Clipboard - a piece of your PC's memory set aside. When you copy or cut, that which you copied/cut is put into memory. When you go to a different place or document and paste, it is removed from memory and placed at the site of the cursor.
WordArt, Autoshapes, and Text Boxes are fun. I use them a lot. In a Word document, click the "Drawing" button on the toolbar to display the Drawing toolbar which will display across the bottom of the screen.
With an autoshape (star, heart, whatever) you right-click in it and can enter text. You can also "fill" it with a picture. You can have your document's text flow around the autoshape or text box.
Open a practice document and do some experimenting.

autoshapes is located on the drawing toolbar used for inserting shapes like circles, squares, ovals, etc. inside word or powerpoint
word art is used for graphical designs of words and you can designate what type of word art and the size of it and is located on the drawing toolbar.
When ever you cut or copy items they are placed on a clipboard which is a temporary storage place so you can paste more than one item
Text box is used to create boxes anywhere that are able to type text in. These text boxes are usually used in the auto shapes and also mainly used in microsoft power point
