Yes, how do you feather a picture in black in photoshop, or any other color, cuz its always white and idk how to change it.

I have a windows XP by Emachines and I would like to know how to do a systems restore. Note that I cannot click on Start to get to run. For some reason the task bar will not let me do anything and has done this for 2 or 3 days now. When I bring my cursor over the Start button, then it just shows the "busy" cursor, the hourglass. Can anyone help me? I know that in the past, I tried the system restore and it wouldn't work as none of the dates would be available to go back to. Now, I don't even remember how to get to it or what to do. I am lost....

I need the registration code for Boilsoft Mov Converter v1.01... My brother bought the full version and never put the code in and I dont know where he wrote it down and put it and hes in boot camp for the Army right now so I cant get ahold of him to ask him where it is. Thanks

I have a Windows XP computer and for the past couple of days, the task bar that is on the bottom of your computer is acting wierd. ( I think that is what it is called?) It is the bar on the bottom that has your start in the left bottom corner and time on the right side with other things that start up with the computer.

Anyway, when I put my cursor over it, it has the hourglass symbol and will take the color or shape of anything that goes over it and I cannot click on any of it. For example, when my screensaver comes on, the whole bottom is the color of the screensaver, or when my spyware tells me I have one alert to view, it shows that over that area. It has only happened for two or three days now.

I would love to have any kind advice that you can give me that will help me fix the problem. Thank you. I have shut it off and restarted it numerous times, and that does not work.

I have two related questions:

WMP11 wants to assign an album to every song in my library. But sometimes, the artist did not issue the song on an album, it was only a single. WMP imports library info from the compilation CD from which I ripped the song, but I don't want it that way, I want it tied to the artist. Is there any way to force WMP not to tie a song to an album?

I have a similar problem with a free, download-only song ("You're Pitiful" by Weird Al), that never appeared on any album. WMP finds no information on this song whatsoever, so it's assigned to "Unknown Album" and most of the tag info is blank. Is there any way to fix this other than manually?

I have bough a Mac with OS X on it not sure what version form e-bay .. .when i got it the guy's screen name is still in there and i dont know his password so i called him and i tried the password that he tolled me but its not working ... so i bough the Mac OS X Tiger and i can install it at all.. i did the hole bid of put the OS DVD in and press and hold "C" but nothing came up ... the retailer for the program tolled me i would be able to see a menu... but nothing ... and i have tried it more then ones... is the a way to get rid of all the i dont even know the administrest pssrd... so please ... tell me how can i install MaC OS X Tiger on a lock Mac.

I have WINTV and I'm using it to transfer analogue camcorder footage to my hard drive but whenever I use it after 45 minutes of recording it freezes and then when I stop it the whole file has gone and I've wasted 45 minutes. I am having to record in 30 minute sections. Is there an easier way??

Ok, I have a master grocery list. It has everything I ever buy on it, and I print it out and put a check mark next to the things I need. Here's my question: is there any way that I can set this up on the computer so that it only prints out a list of the things I need? For instance, if I just need milk, lunch meat, eggs, and bread, is there a program I can use where I can select those on the computer and just print that list out without deleting all the other items? I know I used to be able to do that in Access, but I no longer have that program.
