I have two related questions:
WMP11 wants to assign an album to every song in my library. But sometimes, the artist did not issue the song on an album, it was only a single. WMP imports library info from the compilation CD from which I ripped the song, but I don't want it that way, I want it tied to the artist. Is there any way to force WMP not to tie a song to an album?
I have a similar problem with a free, download-only song ("You're Pitiful" by Weird Al), that never appeared on any album. WMP finds no information on this song whatsoever, so it's assigned to "Unknown Album" and most of the tag info is blank. Is there any way to fix this other than manually?

HAD THE SAME PROBLEM!!! I looked all over and found nothing I had to do all manually but finaly have given up after doing over 400. Still want to know an easier way myself.
