i hav checked the firewall but it still is 2 slow.it has never fully connected for me and i never get search results. are there any other free music download sites r applications?ty

b/c limewire contains spyware that plague your computer. bittorent is much safer

Use µtorrent it connects better than limewire. As far as torrent site there are plenty out there if you search for them. One reason you Limeware is slow is because your settings on the program are default. Go in the settings and change how many people you can connect to, how many files you can download at one time and how fast you can upload and download. Max all of these settings.

If your using limewire there is a good chance you have a virus.. Better run a check.. Is limewire the only thing that is running slow?

Free music? Don't you mean download music illegally?
Limewire is slow because there are tons of people using it to distribute illegal software, music, movies and more, not to mention the millions of Viruses and malware that it is distributed though it as well.

My kids use that.....maybe it's time they stopped.They always complain it's slow too.
