on my family's computer we used to have nero smartstart(or startsmart not sure what it was called exactly) but the computer got wiped out and someone had to add everything back for us.I was wondering is there a way we can get nero back or something.like a website u can download it from or do you need a disk?thanks in advance!

and have it set for dual screens. the problem i'm having, is the logo i have on my laptop is there on the tv, which is o/k but what i am wanting is for the singer to see just the words on there screen, while i sort the next song out etc on my laptop. but as well as there not working indipendently, the words arn't even coming up on the second screen. i would have least expected the two screens to show the same thing even though i want them to show two seperate things.

I'm having trouble opening a Word Doc on my thumb drive, the file disappeared, gone... I have been working on the file hours, I can see it on my Recent Doc, but when I click on it, there is a error message.
Does anyone know what is wrong? I'm really screwed if the file is not recovered. Please help ASAP

before couble monthes i downloaded windows vista ultimate and it works fine in the begining then i found that i cant use my cd/dvd room and i cant burn any thing,after that they told me that i must enter the key num. and i dont have that thing coze i brought this cd from my friend ,and they told me that they will stop my windows if i didnt enter that number sooooooooooo wat will happen if my windows stopped working ??????and how can i back my old windows(xp home)?????i ve got that windows cd.i really need help i dont want to lose my lovely computer and my data.thanks alot

I connect my VHS player to my laptop but it doesn't recognize it, it always says that I should have a software to use it. Does anybody know what software to use for editing VHS tapes and transfer it in a CD (for mac software)?

0x0000007B...the blue start up screen of death. Here is what I did...

My dad decided to install Windows XP on a computer that was made to ONLY run with 98, 98 SE at best (HP Pavillion 4540). Well, me realizing his mistake decided to fix it. I had a Compaq Presario 5301 that has more room for upgrades and such....making it more ideal, at least, than the one he had done it one. Attempting to think of which way would be simpler, I just decided to go ahead and switch the Hard Drives. I figured they would fine a bunch of different hardware...and install it all. When I put the Windows 98SE HD in the Pavillion, it came up immediatly as "Invalid system disk, replace the disk and then press any key". Wonderful...So I decide to go ahead and try the Presario (XP now). Well it gives me the blue screen, says to boot into safe mode (which it can't either) and says "0x0000007B." Both computers have one other hard drive on them, both slaves. Also, both computers worked before the switch.

I'm interested in getting the $100 "Standard" version (nuance.com/naturallyspeaking) because I type so much and I'm trying to take care of my hands (it's just for home, not work). Can you still use keyboard and mouse for private emails and the like? Stuff you don't want people to hear? And how well does it surf the net, etc. Basically, is it worth the money?

My friend had job training. And the trainer said it's possible to unlock with some sort of a key code on apple itunes, and than download music for free. Is anyone aware of it? Would that not be considered stealing? Is he telling the truth?

i could not stand with the complex procee that you firstly download the files you liked from youtobe.com on your pc and then you can convert them to the desired formats. i hate it ! is there any youtobe video converter which can make it in one step?

I have a new very nice gaming computer and i surf the web alot and dont want to risk getting any viruses so a frined of mine told me i should try out using a Mac. Operating software...he explaied that there was a way that i could run both programs on my computer...Does any one know what he meens? I have a GeForce 256MB AGP 7600 GS card. Of course, it originally comes with a DirectX 9.0c. However, I was wondering, will this card be compatible with DirectX 10? Also, what about Windows XP SP2 and some of my games, such as FIFA 07? will those be affected?
