Don't bother with Ubuntu, it's a waste of time. If you're a gamer, the Mac isn't necessarily what you're looking for. You can use Boot Camp to install Windows on the system, but since you're running Windows the system will still be at risk. In time I'm sure you'll be able to run Windows as a Virtual Machine with full hardware support, but I'm not sure if that's a possibility at this point.

well u could use bootcamp, which is free to dual boot mac osx and windows. u could also use paralells to run windows in a windows in mac osx. mac os does not get viruses or other stuf pc's are plagued with. one thing i was impressed with it was that u dont have to install additional software 2 do stuf. like wen i get a new pc i need 2 install a burning program, dvd play, music player, anti-virus and so on. u dont have to install all that stuf wen u get a mac, its all there.

Instead of going out to buy a Mac, why not try Ubuntu? ( http://www.ubuntu.com ). It's a free operating system that runs faster than Windows or Mac, and you can run it alongside another operating system. Try it

Macs are so much easier. It does take a couple days to get used to but they are so quiet you don't even know if it's on or not!! They are expensive, but they are worth it. Trust me. :)
