and have it set for dual screens. the problem i'm having, is the logo i have on my laptop is there on the tv, which is o/k but what i am wanting is for the singer to see just the words on there screen, while i sort the next song out etc on my laptop. but as well as there not working indipendently, the words arn't even coming up on the second screen. i would have least expected the two screens to show the same thing even though i want them to show two seperate things.

I think you would want to set it for extended desktop, not dual display.
