wht would be the pros and cons?
i gave a little para. on the pros and cons of excel... but now i have to use word>>> im a bit conf... again.

I believe the biggest problem in using Word for stats, and I am not sure of this, is that it does not do an automatic update. I believe that to get a corrected total after changing or adding numbers, you have to highlight the numbers and tell it to calculate again. So if you fail to do this the total does not match the data. Excel and other spreadsheets normally update everytime a cell is changed.
