I'm tired of Limewire. Not really into Ares. People tell me to try out a torrent. I've looked at a few torrent sites, gathered a bit of info, and tried a few things. I am really good at computers, and these torrents have got me completely stumped. Can anyone suggest to me a website or a very simple, basic tutorial, or possibly a good simple torrent program that would be easy for a beginner like me to get the hang of?

I just dont get it?
The only thing I did notice is everyday Id have to restart it to keep it from crashing. Other then that it was fine.
Everyone I knew seemed to have problems with ME. I used it until it became outdated and I threw in the dumpster.
It still worked just had no use for it.
Back in 2000 It was $800 on sale wal-mart

My employer will not spend the money to get me Visual Basic.Net. I am stuck using Visual Basic 6. I am pretty good with programming embedded C, but have no time to learn to program in Visual C++.


So I am doing some advanced programming, in VB6, using several DLL’s. I have 4 DLL’s, and two of them use callbacks. The problem is the GUI will appear to freeze during a DLL call. When the DLL returns, everything returns to normal. I have partly cured the problem by refreshing the forms, and calling DoEvents during callbacks. This works fine, unless the user clicks on a control button. The button event will not fire until the DLL returns, or during the callback. This makes the app very sluggish.

I have tried various methods of multi-tasking. Several of them work, in the IDE, but crash at runtime. The app will crash with an exception when one of the DLL’s executes a callback.

Is there a way to get past the administration privelages in Windows XP. I want to get past the admin blocks on my area in school. These are the following things that are not blocked.

Some registry keys
Notepad

I can not use command prompt, or access control panel.

Is there a way to change my privelages so they are the same as the administrators so i have full control over my computer.

I need to transfer a large amount of image files to an external hard drive and need to separate them by date code. Instead of clicking each individual file separately, how can I select a beginning and an ending file and have Windows select (highlight) all files in between? I've seen it done, but never got a chance to ask how to do it.

I was in Adobe when my computer froze and I shut it off. When I turned it off I was mobbed with the same error reports; I also get a pop up telling me to rename like my C file to C2 or something of that sort.

I want to be able to boot into a PC in a DOS environment, (MS DOS, Free DOS, DR DOS, etc..) and be able to READ DVDs. I am NOT interested in playing a DVD MOVIE on ms Dos. I do not care about movies. What I want is to be able read computer files, to see the file structure inside the DVD and open some DOS supported files in a DOS environment.

Ok...I play oblivion for roughly half an hour, then it crashes to the desktop without shutting off, so I hit the game thing in the taskbar, it pops back up, regardless of what I do next, it freezes. I cant save, I cant do anything, it just freezes. I open task manager and it doesnt say its stopped running. (Other games just freeze without going to the desktop)

Before anyone asks, I have updated my drivers for my card...in fact the drivers that came with my card were the newest ones. I have defragged, scan disked, restarted, everything...and it still freezes. I have nothing running except a fire wall, so its not taking all the resources.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200
M2n-e Asus motherboard
2 gigs corsair dual channel
Corsair 520 watt psu
Nvidia 7900 256mb pci-e

Everything that I can see, is running cool. The processor is running 27-34c when it runs oblivion on the highest mode.

I ran the DXdiag and everything passed. I checked all the drivers in manage folder and everythings fine...

i downloaded xubuntu and it worked fine, but when i restarted it gave me that new hard drive screen, as if i didnt have an operating system....how do i get a version of xubuntu that stays on your hd without having to put the dam disk in

installed this program called 'folder lockbox', initially within the folder i wanna lock...then i ran set-up and chose the same folder to lock(chose a password too). now that folder has disappeared from D drive and when i click its earlier shortcut which was on the desktop, i go to D:\ drive and all other folders in it but not the folder i locked. how do i activate it ?where do i enter password? help i want my folder back!!
