Is there a way to get past the administration privelages in Windows XP. I want to get past the admin blocks on my area in school. These are the following things that are not blocked.

Some registry keys
Notepad

I can not use command prompt, or access control panel.

Is there a way to change my privelages so they are the same as the administrators so i have full control over my computer.

No. You have to have a password hack and it will be useless unless you can get to the command prompt and run it for hours upon hours.

If you do, it is criminal, just like breaking into a classroom. You don't have to steal anything and being smart enough to break a lock doesn't give you a get out of jail free card.

Why don't you steal a car instead. It would be more fun, easier and you probably would spend less time in jail.

They won't kick you out of school to go home to mommy and daddy because this is Federal under the FBI cybercrime division.

However, you might be able to impress Butch, that kniffed his teacher when you get to the pen.

He hasn't responded so I bet the Feds already traced his IP address and are following up on charges for an attempted hack into government owned computers.

He might already be sitting with Butch in a cell!

I have tried back in my day and you cannot get around these. You have read-only privledges and that means no editing of files that you dont have permissions to. Oh and I got suspended for a week for hacking a school computer and changing my grades. They watch those computers pretty thorughly and you cannot terminate their monitoring program because you dont have rights to end them either. Best bet is to not screw around with school comps... Take it from me...

its not your computer. Its the school's computer. They own it and hold all rights to it. It is by their good graces that your even allowed to touch it.

Unauthorized access of any computer system IS a felony crime.

Aside from this being HIGHLY illegal, do you really think you have the technical expertise to out-smart a staff of trained professionals whose JOB it is to keep kids like you from messing with the network?

That would be illegal, since it is a school computer. Doing so, will leave the school with no choice but to either expell or suspend you.
