I'm tired of Limewire. Not really into Ares. People tell me to try out a torrent. I've looked at a few torrent sites, gathered a bit of info, and tried a few things. I am really good at computers, and these torrents have got me completely stumped. Can anyone suggest to me a website or a very simple, basic tutorial, or possibly a good simple torrent program that would be easy for a beginner like me to get the hang of?

Please don't download torrents, most of them have viruses. You should check out this website instead: http://www.phazeddl.com/. However, there is always a risk of contracting computer viruses or spyware, so just scan the downloaded program BEFORE you open it. I hope I helped.

Torrents are actually very simple and easy to use. Download "Bit torrent" from Download.com or from their website, and when you want to find a torrent just type in the thing your trying to find followed by the word "torrent". For example if u were trying to find the Shawshank Redemption type "Shawshank Redemption Torrent" into google. A few diffrent websites should come up with several different torrents available. Download the torrent, and the run the torrent and the program should start downloading the movie all by itself. And on some websites the torrent is reviewed by fellow downloaders, so u can see ahead of time if the torrent is crap or not. Hope this helps!

Go on a torrent search engine:
e.g. http://isohunt.com/
Save the torrent on ur cpu, n load it on ur bittorrent client and wait for it to download
