i want to use many softwares available in the net but i can't able to get the softwares and i don't know the correct websites to search.please help me
atleast send me where the trial version software found and it is possible to make the software full version by giving the serials

Hello, I wanted to use my recovery disc that came with my pc but it says the trial period has expired and to contact the website for a full license. Is this common among pc builders. And can I get a program to make my own recovery disc? I am using windows vista premium.

I have used Kaspersky Internet security 6.0 and liked it a lot. However I used the same activation code on 3 different computers not thinking they would notice, however kaspersy did and they stopped updating on the extra computers....So I am now going to buy protection for the other 2 computers. I have read that ZoneAlarm Internet security 7.0 uses Kaspersky anti virus and I can buy a copy with an activation code for 3 users which looks looks like a great value...
Is ZoneAlarm internet security 7.0 just as good as kaspersky internet security 6.0? If not can you please tell me the cons of Zonealarm. Thanks a lot

I built this computer strictly for gaming, so its by far powerful enough. But, randomly...games freeze. Battlefield has froze everytime I have played...always randomly. Like, in the middle of me firing or dying...and once when I hit a spawn point. Then, call of duty freezes...but I only played it once...it was when we were in the car at the begining. Oblivion froze when I was making a character...I made it completely, hit done...and the button went down and froze. So, how do I fix this?

Oh, when battlefield freezes, it freezes the whole computer not just the game, so I have to hold the power button down to shut it off.

AMD Athlon 5200 X2 64 I believe Windsor...not that that matters.
M2n-e asus motherboard
2 gigs corsair dual channel ram
Nvidia 7900 Pci-e
Antec 900 case...all together I have 4 on the case, 3 on the ram, and one on the processor...then of course the other components like psu and graphics card...

So...why is it doing this? I did everything I could think of.

I have installed Windows Vista on a seprate partition from Windows XP. The problem is more of an inconvience than that of an actual problem. When you install Vista, it installs it's boot manager ON TOP OF your old one. So what has happened now is that when I boot, Vista's boot manager lets me select a version of XP or Vista. If I chose XP, it brings me to my old boot manager selections, which I no longer need.

I've tried to edit boot.ini in the root directory, but it won't let me save changes, and there is a message before the actual boot info that says to use Vista's boot manager.

Is there any way to fix this problem without completly reformatting everything?

I'm using a new Intel iMac, with Mac OS X 10.4.9 (It had 10.4.8 when I got it). Ever since I got the machine, the Software Update application will not function. When I click on the option, an icon for a generic application appears in the dock for a few seconds then goes away. It's my school's computer, so I do not have access to the OS X install disk. Does anyone know what happened to my Software Update, or how I can fix it?

I think legislation should make laws requiring all software to have unistallers included that remove ALL files and registry entries and upon uninstalling to revert all changes made. Also, include a text file with details on all files installed,where they are, etc. Stiff and i mean stiff fines should be dealt to those who dont comply. With the internet becoming extremely popular even to older folks such as my 80yo Grandparents there needs to be better assurances that they are safe and their PC's as well. It's rediculous the amout of software out there that ruins your OS structure and or adds, makes changes that just should not be allowed.. even in "legit" software. What do you think?

after I get that it willl say that it will....oops I forget...but something worse than running slowly...like maybe stop it altogether.
