Yes it is possible!! However some authors do not allow for copy and paste. If the word 'copy' is not highlighted when you go to copy you know that the document has been set by the author to not accept copy and paste!! Bear in mind when copying and pasting you need to do a lot of editing when pasting to Word because the font comes out small, and the paragraphs and sentences need adjusting!!

To copy just highlight what you want copying and then press right click. A menu will appear - just select 'copy'!!

If you want to copy all the text just press right click on the mouse - a menu will appear, press 'select all' and then select 'copy'.

Download freeware pdfReader from this site:
http://www.foxitsoftware.com/

This software loads much faster than Adobe Reader.
Load the pdf file. Click on Tools. Then click on Select text.
Select the text with mouse.

Click on Edit and select copy. The selected text will be
copied to clip-board. Open notepad or wordpad.
Paste the copied material.

It's possible but I've never been able to, it's at the author's discretion. :)
